Zebra BI is a plug-in for Excel and Power BI, which allows to create graphics and tables according to IBCS standard with a few mouse clicks. The advantages are:
Excel and Power BI: This allows to quickly create profssional visuals in standard dashboards in Power BI or ad-hoc reports in Excel.
Convincing visuals: Without investing time in the presentation, clear, meaningful visuals are created that can be used again and again.
No code - no training: With just a few mouse clicks, the graphics and tables are created. If needed, they can be customized to make the whole report layout fit the requirements.
With Zebra BI you can create dynamic graphics and tables according to IBCS standard with just a few mouse clicks. There are several predefined visuals, which can be easily changed or personalized with one single click. The size of the visuals can be adjusted manually, whereby the table or graphic automatically adapts to the size in terms of content and suggests the most meaningful representation. The displays are by no means static - standard Power BI functions such as drill-down, selection, focus, etc. can also be applied.
Reports and dashboards often bear the signature of the creator. Everyone has their own preferences for graphics and colors and decides what information to present and how. This often leads to the fact that the reports are not understood correctly by the recipients and thus, the basic idea of reports is destroyed.
To counter this, the International Business Communication Standards (IBCS®) were developed, which are offered on the basis of the Creative-Commons-Lizenz (CC BY-SA). The IBCS contains practical suggestions for the design of business communication, which is based on rule areas (see graphic). These are intended to help unify reports while creating clear messages in communications (reports, presentations, dashboards, etc.).
