Dominik Imark

Founder

Dominik holds an Executive MBA with a specialisation in Strategic Management and Business Intelligence. Before founding Banian AG, he supported numerous Swiss companies as a Senior Consultant in the field of Business Intelligence, and previously headed the BI Competence Centre and master data management of Switzerland's largest department store chain. Dominik is not only a recognised expert at Banian — he is also deeply committed to volleyball. As a board member, coach and player he competed up to the National League B and remains involved in all areas of VBC Laufen to this day.

Philipp Hirsbrunner

CFO & Principal Consultant

Founder

Philipp completed his studies at the University of St. Gallen, graduating with a Master of Arts HSG with a specialisation in Business Innovation. Before co-founding Banian he worked in strategic procurement at an international FMCG company and built up Data Governance at Switzerland's largest department store chain. His final role before Banian was as part of the overall project management team for the SaaS ERP implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. Philipp has two young children and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. Whenever time allows, he tinkers with his smart home setup and tries to automate everything that runs on electricity.

Nathalie Hirsbrunner

Backoffice

Nathalie holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy from FHNW. Before joining Banian she worked for several years as a specialist in speech therapy, focusing on language disorders and special educational measures. She currently works as a research associate for a canton, where she supported a software project and oversaw a public tender. She now accompanies the further development of the software and supports users in day-to-day operations, while also assisting the management of the educational psychology service with organisational tasks and political enquiries. At Banian, Nathalie is responsible for backoffice operations and supports client projects. When her two young children leave her with time and energy to spare, she works in the garden and enjoys spending time with her family in nature.

Stefan Kaspar

Senior Data Architect

Stefan is an experienced and versatile data expert with a Master's degree in Business Intelligence from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences. Since 2015 he has specialised in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, data processing and reporting in environments with high information security and regulatory requirements. As Senior Data Architect at Banian he leads complex client projects and supports organisations in implementing a wide range of data initiatives. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family or training at the CrossFit box.

Patricia Bär

Data Analyst & Project Manager

Patricia trained in international freight logistics and studied Business Administration part-time at FHNW. Through stays abroad in Belgium and South Korea and international projects including in China, she acquired extensive intercultural skills. Her strengths lie in strategy development, process analysis and optimisation, and Data Governance. To keep her energy up for work and her three sons, she loves running or mountain biking.

Daniela Cattelan

Data Expert

Daniela holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Basel and further qualified with a postgraduate diploma as a Certified Quality Manager NDS HF. Before joining Banian she supported the build-up of Data Governance, accompanied the implementation of the SaaS ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 as Test Manager, served as Head of ERP Sales Services, and most recently worked as Lead Agile DevOps at Switzerland's largest department store chain. In her free time Daniela is passionate about swimming or enjoys time in Piedmont.
