Dominik Imark

Dominik holds an Executive MBA with specialization in Strategic Management and Business Intelligence. Before founding Banian AG, he supported numerous Swiss companies in the area of business intelligence as a senior consultant and was responsible for the BI Comptence Center and master data management of the largest Swiss department store chain for several years. Dominik is not only a proven expert at Banian, but is also very involved in volleyball. As a board member, coach as well as player he was active up to the National League B and is still involved in all areas at VBC Laufen.

Philipp Hirsbrunner

Philipp graduated from the University of St. Gallen with a Master of Arts HSG in Business Innovation. In his activities prior to founding Banian, he supported the strategic purchasing department of an international FMCG company and built up data governance at the largest Swiss department store chain. Most recently, he supported the implementation of the SAAS ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 as part of the project lead. Philipp has two small children and enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. If there is still some time left, he tinkers with his smart home installation and tries to automate everything that is somehow powered by electricity.

Kirsten Kleim

Kirsten completed her MSc in Neuroscience with a focus on Computation at the University of Freiburg. Before joining Banian, she worked as a Data Scientist for Big Data Analytics at a leading insurance company in Germany on various Data Science projects. Kirsten is our specialist in automated transformation processes and the analysis of databases and data structures. In her free time, Kirsten likes to travel whenever possible - with preference to warmer regions - or she relaxes with a good book.

Nathalie Hirsbrunner

Nathalie completed her bachelor's degree in speech therapy at the FHNW. Before Banian, she worked for several years as a specialist at a canton. Her main focus was the assessment of speech disorders and the recommendation of special education measures. She currently works part-time for a canton and supports a software project as a research assistant. At Banian, Nathalie is responsible for the backoffice and supports client projects as needed.

Nathalie completed her bachelor's degree in speech therapy at the FHNW. Before Banian, she worked for several years as a speech therapist with a focus on speech disorders and possible special education measures. Nathalie works as a research assistant for a canton. She supported a software project and accompanied a public tender. Currently she accompanies the further development of the software and supports the users in the ongoing operation. In addition, she supports the management of the school psychology service in organizational tasks and political inquiries. At Banian, Nathalie is responsible for the backoffice and supports client projects as needed. When Nathalie has time and energy left with two small children, she works in the garden and enjoys spending time with her family in nature.

Stefan Kaspar

Stefan is an experienced data expert with a wide knowledge. He holds a Master's degree in Business Intelligence from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Since 2015, he has specialized in business intelligence, data warehousing, data processing and reporting in environments with high information security and regulatory requirements. As a Senior Data Architect at Banian, he manages complex customer projects and supports companies in implementing a wide variety of data projects. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family or working out at CrossFit Box.

Patricia Bär

Patricia completed her training in international freight forwarding and studied business administration part-time at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). With stay-abroads in Belgium and South Korea as well as international projects e.g. in China, she was able to acquire numerous intercultural skills. Her strengths lie in strategy development, in the analysis and optimization of process steps and in data governance. In order to have enough energy for work and her two small boys at home, whe likes running and mountainbiking in her free time.

Giulia Monteforte

Giulia is currently studying business administration at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). At Banian she takes care of the accounting, organizes events and supports in the areas of human resources and marketing. She likes to spend her free time riding or showjumping with her horse Cherry and meeting friends.

Niels Hellinga

Niels completed his education in the Netherlands and graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and Engineering (track Data Science) from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2018. Before joining Banian, Niels worked as a data scientist, developer and engineer in the Netherlands and Switzerland. At Banian, Niels focuses on data engineering and data warehousing according to Data Vault. In his spare time, he loves to be in the mountains.
