Metadata management:
Metadata is documented technically and professionally (description, responsibilities, transformations, issues and status) and made available to the entire company in a system catalog.  This allows metadata to be stored in a hierarchically organized manner and to be easily queried and found. In addition, checks can be stored for data structures, which check the data with each import, identify changes and trigger corresponding notifications.

Data can be integrated and extracted as required using dataspot.'s existing API architecture. Further data integrations can be developed individually.

Data Lineage:

In dataspot. End2End data flows (data lineage) can be recorded and displayed graphically in a technically and professionally transparent manner. A distinction is made between automatic and manual mapping of the End2End data lineage, including changes to data (ETL routes, conversions, transformations, mappings, filtering, etc.) on the basis of query histories in the databases.

Data products can be recorded as data sets to show the effects on other data elements and the responsibilities assigned to the respective element. In addition, the further processing of the data is also displayed, making all derivations, transformations and data uses visible. This supports, for example, the adaptation or extension of an interface, changes to reference values or adjustments to calculation rules.
