Nature and purpose of processing:
Your data will be used exclusively to send you the subscribed newsletter by e-mail. Your name is provided in order to be able to address you personally in the newsletter and, if necessary, to identify you if you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject.
To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your e-mail address. When registering to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Banian maintains a database technology for Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Our CRM database contains personal data of employees of our customers or other companies with whom we already have, maintain or wish to develop a business relationship. The personal data used for these purposes includes relevant business information such as contact details, publicly available information (e.g. published articles, press releases, notices on social media sites, etc.), your responses to targeted emails, and other included business information based on personal interactions with you. If you would like to be removed from our CRM database, please send an email to hey@banian.ch.
Retention Period
We process and store your personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the stated purpose, or for as long as we have a business relationship with you. If a prescribed storage period expires, your data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
In addition, we will delete your data if you request us to do so at hey@banian.ch and there is no obligation to retain this personal data.
