TOGAF is an architecture framework defined and developed by the Open Group. The framework helps to design, plan and implement enterprise structures in a structured way. The model is very powerful and offers templates, reference models, checklists etc.. For the concrete application, the goal must be defined and the appropriate toolset selected accordingly.
